When you take the chance to expose yourself, I understand you think it only affects you. But if you are frequenting other public places or especially a business like mine, where we can not keep a 6 foot distance and must be in close contact for an extended time...you risk giving it to me and then I risk giving it to the high risk client who may come in after you. I do not go to bars or restaurants unless I can be outside and I've only even done that 3 times since this all hit...because I want to limit my risk factor, to protect my clients. I also have an air purifier in the room and I always wear an N95 mask, so I'm taking all the precautions that I can.
There are new variants of this thing going around and we just don't know enough yet for me to be willing to take risks that may affect my more vulnerable clients. Also, from a financial perspective, I am a sole proprietor which means I don't get paid days off. If I get sick or have to shut down my work, it hurts me financially. So, I am asking all clients to wear a mask during out time in the room. No exceptions. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I truly hope everyone stays healthy and happy during this crazy time we're all going through.
